Carman Lee Yuek-Tung returned to TVB Studios for the first time in a long time the night before last as she taped the thirteenth episode of this season's THE SUPER TRIO SHOW. The other guests at the taping were: Yoyo Mung Ka-Wai, Flora Chan Wai-Shan, Bowie Lam Bo-Yi, Ben Ng Ngai-Cheung, and Edison Chan Kwoon-Hei. Asked what her plans were for this year, Lee answered that she will continue her relaxed professional life by working on two or three Mainland television series. Asked if she had plans to appear in a Hong Kong project, Lee said that only a good script would entice her to return to the grind that is the Hong Kong entertainment industry.

In related news, a Mainland television series that Lee shot last year, YUEN LOI YAT KA YAN (lit. DESTINED TO BE ONE FAMILY, aka HOME), was supposed to being airing on ATV tomorrow night. In fact, previews featuring Lee and co-star Wu Bing (right) had already aired. However, in another example of the mysterious ways of ATV, it was announced this weekend that ATV has decided to air the fifteen year old Japanese series AH SHUN DIK GU SI (lit. AH SHUN'S STORY) instead. In explaining the decision, ATV programming executive Leung Kai-Yip cited that the series is considered a classic that audiences are sure to enjoy re-visiting. The series has already aired twice in Hong Kong. It aired for the first time in Hong Kong in 1986 on TVB. In 1997, ATV aired the series after it bought the Hong Kong rights.
