Auditions for RUSH HOUR 2 continued in Hong Kong yesterday as director Brett Ratner flew in for another visit. Among the Hong Kong stars seen heading for a session were: Eric Tsang Chi-Wai, Valerie Chow Ka-Ling, Carman Lee Yuek-Tung, Roy Cheung Yiu-Yeung, Sandra Ng Kwun-Yu , Lau Ching-Wan and wife Amy Kowk Oi-Ming, Candy Lo Hau-Yum, and Gigi Leung Wing-Kei. Phillip Chan Yan-Kin, who attended the first series of audition, returned for another session. According to The Sun, the actors were each given a one minute scene to do entirely in English. Apparently, four major roles will be given to Hong Kong actors: an older high-level policeman (widely expected to go to Phillip Chan), a young villain, and two female assassins.
