Ever since hooking up with boyfriend businessman Kwok Ying-Chuen, Carman Lee Yuek-Tung has kept a low profile. Yesterday, she was spotted shooting a commercial in Beijing. Lee revealed that she has been taking it easy lately but has worked. She said that she recently completed a shampoo commercial. Having turned down eight offers for television serial work, she has accepted one that will start shooting in the middle of December. Lee: "I've kept working. It's just that I didn't want to spend too much time working on a TV serial. In my new contract, I have a provision for eight hours of rest a day!"
Lee says that she will concentrate on ad and television serial work. She also revealed that she does not rely on her boyfriend financially. Lee: "I'm financially independent. Luckily, I don't have to pay a mortgage. I only have to pay HK$30,000 to HK$40,000 each month for my car. I absolutely make enough to support myself. Besides THE RETURN OF THE CONDOR HEROS 1995 (SUN DIU HUP NUI 1995) has exposed me to the Mainland and Taiwanese markets, I want to concentrate my efforts on those two areas."
